We all enjoy sipping tea every morning. For most of us, it's the first thing we consume in the morning. It remains loyal as 'tea breaks' in office and how can we forget the 'must have with evening snacks' tea on reaching home. Tea has been known as medicinal drink and beverages, but how many of us have explored its 'out of the book' uses!
Once we give our taste-buds a roll by having our cup of favorite tea, we throw away the used tea bags. But have you ever wondered that the used tea bags can do wonders! On that note,here are some of its unusual uses after which you will never throw away used tea bags.
Removes Odors from Refrigerator
Sometimes the refrigerator becomes stinky. To remove unwanted smells from it, put two or three used tea bags. It will absorb any bad smell.
Deodorize Your Vehicle
Instead of hanging chemical overloaded air fresheners, consider this alternative. Just add a few drops of your favorite essential oil and let the tea bag do the rest. It will keep your car deodorized for weeks.
Excellent Pedicure at Home
Skip your pedicure at parlour, toss a couple of used tea bags in warm water and soak your feet for 20 minutes. It will cleanse your feet, neutralize foot odor, soften calluses and nourish skin.
Clean Glass and Mirrors
Fill a spray bottle with brewed tea or directly rub a damp teabag on glasses, mirrors and window and make it sparkle within minutes.
Clean the Carpets and Rugs
Sprinkle damp, but not wet, green tea leaves over your carpet. It will soak dirt and bad smell. Leave it until it dries up completely. Then either vacuum it or sweep it away.
Polish Wooden Furniture
Dip a piece of cloth into some brewed tea and rub over the wooden furniture or floor. It will bring the natural color of wood and cover small scratches as well.
